In this online-only extra, Washington Week moderator Gwen Ifill and panel take your questions and discuss the recently-unveiled Senate health reform bill, the President's trip to Asia, the political situation on the ground in Afghanistan and the return of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.
*You* can participate in Washington Week roundtable discussions. Each week moderator Gwen Ifill and a panel of top journalists take your questions during the Washington Week Webcast Extra. For more information go to http://www.pbs.org/washingtonweek/
This week's panelists:
Karen Tumulty of TIME Magazine
David Sanger of The New York Times
Doyle McManus of the Los Angeles Times
John Dickerson of Slate Magazine and CBS News
I'm not sure what U mean or R asking, but what I was referring to is the show that goes on the air, not this web exclusive. I just find the panel very annoying, frustrating & insufferable 2 take for very long. They're acting more as pundits rather than journalists, expressing their opinions way too much on what Washington is doing. I used 2 like the show when Paul Duke was the moderator. I wonder if he's still alive. Now with Gwen Ifell as moderator the show really sucks & I stopped watching it.

Now that rings a bell.
Is it exposure or advertising?
Good question, though not so well stated.
Are you calling Gwen Ifill and this *Web Exclusive* for being gatekeepers? Which is to say that this show fulfills a need for someone to frame questions in a manner that keeps reputable answers within a subset of possible answers thus denying some reasonable answers exposure.
In that case I'd have to agree.

When are you guys going to cancel this freakin' show? Everytime I *try* to watch it, I get the feeling that it's *THESE* guys/gals opinions that they're putting forth, like THEY'RE trying to shape policy. WTF?! I hate this show! Give the money to "Nova" and to "Frontline"! Please!
