To everyone who has posted comments thus far, and to those who eventually respond: Thank you for your support and kind words of encouragement. I was REALLY nervous about posting this video. It took me two days to write out what I wanted to say because, 1 - I have been very angry with everything that is going on in our country, and 2 -knowing my personality, I didn't want an aggressive tone with my response. It has always been my intention to be straight-forward, honest and respectful. But sometimes I fall short of that. I am a lot like my maternal grandmother, who was never afraid to speak her mind, and she let people know what she thought. More often than not, she was speaking truth and common sense, and some people couldn't handle common sense and truth. I thank God every day for teaching me (through people like my grandmother) these very important values.

I know this is late, but I needed a couple of days to gather my thoughts, put those thoughts to paper and then to video.

It has been 25 years since I was even a senior in high school. Not even at that time was I exposed to the kind of "sensitivity training" that today's teens are in the public school system. Yes, I am "offended," because there is no common sense or any sort of Civics courses being taught in the public schools. The situation in California with the Mexican-American students at Live Oak High School who claim to be "disrespected" by the American Flag while they enjoy living in and attending school in America has really gone too far, and I am speaking my mind about it! With that, I am bringing common sense and truth to what America is really all about - Freedom for everyone, no matter what country you came from, or your nationality/heritage.

Comments will be monitored, so keep any and all posts civilized and respectful. You have the freedom to disagree, but I will NOT allow spam or profanity! Vote up if you like it, or down if you don't, save it to favorites and share with others at your leisure. Enjoy! :-)

  • Good video. Thanks to people like that girl, most people think May 5th is an official holiday. It's not even one in Mexico. That's the power of propaganda amongst the ignorant. And thanks for pointing out we don't have the right to not be "disrespected."

One thing you can do to improve your next video is watch your audio levels. Your borrowed videos should match to your recorded one.

  • @IntellectualAddict Thanks for your comment on the content and the feedback on the audio. The borrowed video audio level was out of my control in this case, but I will keep a closer eye on it for future videos. Thanks again! :-)

  • We should just dump Cinco de Mayo altogether!

  • We need to reeducate the students coming out of our public school system.

  • nicely done and stated...God bless

  • @AmericanPowerBase Your comment was very well said, and I would agree with you regarding the illegal aliens attending our schools. However, just remember that I would give the girl I was directing my message to the benefit that she was born in the United States, and I'd go with the argument that she is lacking common sense and an education in Civics. Thank you!

  • @09bassman Obama showing his "papers?" HA!! He's paying millions to lawyers all over the country to hide them, and I think the unions, ACORN, George Soros (from the Open Society Institute), the Tides Foundation and the Center for American Progress are all contributing to offset the expense.

And yes, I scrutinize Glenn Beck and the rest of the conservative media all the time, and send Beck emails when I believe he needs to be scolded on some things he has said that could be misinterpreted.

  • @MyFreedomChannel If Obama has nothing to hide, I don't see why he doesn't just show us his l "papers!" As far a Beck goes, we need to scrutinize all public figures and information!

  • @09bassman (continued) - I wouldn't be surprised that Obama is supporting illegal immigration because he himself won't show his long-form birth certificate - no matter where he was born. Because if it turned out that he was born in Kenya, as his paternal grandmother claims he was, it would turn the entire immigration issue on its head.
