The Telling Tales exhibition at the V&A 14 July-18 October 2009 showcases furniture but not as we know it. Designers Tord Boontje, Job Smeets and curator Gareth Williams elaborate.
Kelly McCallum's piece, 'Do you hear what I hear?' , is striking (2:35 mark). Haunting at first, yes, but sitting with the image of her piece allows the natural element to arise and for the gold to burnish a whole new way of seeing those little m's. Based on her comments, not only did she attain her goal, she hit it out of the park.
Why do some objects that feature in the catalogue not feature in the exhibition?
