One concert I heard her at was around 1977 or 1978, It was in Boston and on her birthday. As she came out for the second half, someone in the audience stood up and told before she continued everyone would like to sing her happy birthday. I brought tears to her eyes.

I met her....when she did a Master Class here in Tennessee in the 70's. She took extra time with me to encourage, and I'll never forget that. She was a wonderful woman, and because her hands and art suffered so during a concentration camp,
she gave me hope to overcome the arthritis in my own hands. That I play at all is due to Lili.
