@challie10 They live with fish in the wild so hes just giving it the best, natural habitat for the the Axolotl.

If you want to get one just know that no nonaxolotl fish should be in the same tank, and the tank water must be kept at 50-75 degrees F. About 55-60 is good.

how are you managing to keep it alive with other fish in there? they are gonna eat his gills. also, although bare bottom tanks are alright they are not recommended because of hard footing, and there is nothing for him to to under or in. poor bored, stressed, nipped up salamander :\
