These so-called 'animal' has mouth on the top surface that is surrounded by feeding arms. They feed by filtering small particles of food from the sea water. Sooooo amazing!!!
Second other peoples' comments, NOT a feather star. Also, not a "so-called animal," it is an animal. It's an echinoderm (as are feather stars), and echinoderms are basically the most closely related animals to vertebrates.

This is not a crinoid, those are the feding tentacles of a sea cucumber, yet they are relatives since them both are echinoderms :o)
