Mario Kart's different. Just like there was a lot of Mario Sunshine references in Mario Kart: Double Dash like Piantas on Peach Beach and Luigi's new mansion in Luigi Circuit. The thing is, they start production on the Smash Bros. games a lot earlier, and it takes a lot more to make, so they can't really add any new stuff in there. Mario Kart games don't take as long to make since there's no features really to put and they're a bit lazy on the graphics.

I loved Brawl's music... But I realized its soundtrack is made of 64% remixes, 10% Brawl theme renditions, and 5% SSE/Other Music, and 21% recycled music.

Though I love Brawl to death, I prefer some fresh, new music. :<

This is a year late, but I'd just like to say that Kirby games usually have awesome music, and pretty much Hal Lab in general. For example: Mother 3, Kirby Air Ride, and SSBB all have especially good music.
