Up In The Trees

The Blockaders at the tree village have been up for a full month now and are still refusing to come down until TransCanada stops building the Keystone XL pipeline. They are being watched by security 24/7 and have been cut off from from people trying to resupply them with more food and water. Even though TransCanada knew they were up there, the continued to clear cut trees feet away from the village while our friends in the trees could do nothing but watch and shoot video footage. This short video has a rare glimpse of video from up in the trees this past month. Support Our Blockaders!

Dear Blockaders,

First off alI my congratulations on this video. It's not just a video, it's more an art video! Don't hesitate to go on peacefully with your actions. It's not just 'tree hugging' as you become a living sign of protest that thereby supports and stimulates the public debate on this subject. In the mean time things can be taken to court as well. But never forget that beside some action in court actions in the field are always be needed!

Somehow I think hiding up in the tree's for a month or 2 is not going to accomplish anything. This needs to be fought in a court of law, not by attacks on the workers or pipeline, as they are just contracted to work on it just like any other job. So you can keep tree hugging or come down and file with your courts for large scale lawsuit. Your working as a team in the tree's, do it in court.
