The root cause is that Islamists take the Qur'an out of context and use it as justification for things such as terrorism, which they believe is a just jihad. The funny thing is that they're going to hell for blowing themselves up. Ironic really.

Terrorist doesn't have any religion. God says in Qur'an says "You who believe! Enter absolutely into peace (Islam). Do not follow in the footsteps of Satan. He is an outright enemy to you." The values of the Qur'an hold a Muslim responsible for treating all people, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, kindly and justly, protecting the needy and the inocent and preventing the "dissemination of mischief".
Terrorising a people for no reason is one of the most obvious examples of mischief.

Peace be with you!!! Yes, terrorist terrorise everybody, either it is individually or state sponsor terrorism. And you know my brother of humanity, peace doesn't happen from one side. You cann't justify your wrong doing by another wrong. Have you ever tried to investigate the root cause of this issue?
