The kid has a great swing, especially for a right-handed hitter. Very smooth, and he tracks the ball well. ... Our son bats left-handed and was hitting like this when he was 2. He's now 5 (will be 6 in July) and is playing 9U/10U kid pitch. ... Keep your son swinging, and don't ignore the other areas of the game. Give him an opportunity to be a complete player, and let him progress at his own pace. His performance/confidence will tell you when he's ready for the next step in his development.
