320i E30, E36 and E46 have straight 6 engines also, and these small engines permits to BMW to exist, at least in Europe.

And the most famous BMW engine is the L6, not the V8....

Yesterday I was driving my boring Jeep thinking whether I should buy a e38 740 or an e31 840.

Minutes later I saw an e38 740 and it looked so good on the road. I need to get one.

Turning at a roundabout I caught a glimpse of the 740 in my mirror turning behind me, and the long black body with the stylish BMW rims look fantastic. Best car around.
