Malygos 10 Man Down Strategy Guide Part 1 Of 2 [HD]

-Boss Abilities-
-Phase 1-
-Vortex-
Maly will start flying and cause 20k DMG to the entire raid over 10 sec while spinning everyone in the air. This does not stun anyone and many spells can be used during the vortex, anyone under 20k HP raid buffed should be healed in the vortex, or HoTed before the vortex if they are to survive.
-Power Spark-
A mob will spawn from portals in space and must be killed before it reaches Maly. If it reaches him he gains a 50% DMG increase, but if you kill it before it reaches Maly everyone in the arcane area where the mob died will gain a 50% DMG increase.
-Arcane Breath-
This deals around 19k-21k DMG in a long cone, and it also exploads after a few seconds for another 9k-11k DMG in an AoE, this AoE will be around the people or person hit by the first part of Arcane Breath.
-Arcane Storm-
This is an arcane attack that deals 9k-11k DMG to any random person in the raid.

-Phase 2-
-Arcane Storm-
Same exact thing from Phase 1.
-Power Overload- (Purple Bubble)
Maly will cast this at a random point on the platform. Anyone hit by this will be knocked back. When this turns into the purple bubble get in it to reduce all arcane DMG by 50%.
-Nexus Lords-
Mobs that spawn every so often during Phase 2 which must be killed. They do around 9k-11k DMG and can increase their own haste. These can be tanked and drop disks for melee to use to kill them in the air.
-Scion of Eternity-
Mobs similar to Nexus Lords but hit harder and dont have haste. They hit for 14k-16k DMG. Their disks will drop for melee use as well.
-Deep Breath-
This deals 25k DMG to the whole raid over 5 seconds, to survive this your raid must be in one of the Power Overload (Purple Bubble) Zone.

MT-
-Phase 1-
Make sure Maly isnt facing the raid, and make sure to watch agro after Vortex. Move Maly away from sparks if they get too close to him.
-Phase 2-
Try to grab agro on the Nexus Lords and Scion of Eternities by using either taunts or long range attacks that cause additional agro. It will be hard to keep all the agro but if the raid is in the Purple Bubbles the raid should be fine.

OT-
This fight does not require an OT in any way shape or form.

Heals-
-Phase 1-
Make sure if Maly is moved you arent ever in front of him. There is a TON of AoE healing involved here. Make sure all the people below 20k hp get healed first in or during Vortex.
-Phase 2-
Even more AoE healing is done here because the tank cant hold agro on all mobs but the healing can easily be done if in the Purple Bubble. Keep a close eye on your own HP because if you get hit once and dont heal over the next 4 sec or more you could get hit again and die.

DPS-
-Phase 1-
Do everything to stop Sparks from getting to Maly. The sparks can be slown down by hamstring, chains, death grip, and everything of the sort. Do not be anywhere close to the front of Maly. Stand in the arcane areas formed by Sparks after they die for the 50% DMG boost, and yes, the fields buff stacks.
-Phase 2-
If youre range do not get on disks, if youre melee get on disks. Everyone off of disks must be in the Purple Bubbles.
