  • I'm using a texturizer but just to have them straighten out without all the bad chemicals of the perm but I find it hard to care for my hair since everytime I think they're growing I find them looking all broken out... My hair as had some damages before (broken, split ends, parts shorter than other...) I stopped using perm, weaves and braids in hopes to see them grow longer... It has been since march 2011. Any tips?

  • How do you you style your hair daily since its wet? Do u feel washing it every day dries it out?

  • sumtimes i use baking soda and water, or castille soap, or sumtimes just plain conditioner.

  • What do you wash your hair everyday with?

  • yeah. depends on what products you use. if you use alot of gels and leave-in non natural conditioners then yeah its horrible to shampoo only once a month. but african natural hair, you can rinse everyday and wash with conditioner but as far as shampoo, if you don't use products that cause buildup, then you don't need it as often. i wash every day but i only use shampoo nowadays every 2 weeks.

  • yep! haha

  • Your suppose to shampoo at least one or twice a week depending on your hair type. Washing hair once a month is just disgusting. My hair would probably fall out if I washed my hair once a month.

  • Not necessarily, but it would help if she gave more advice.

  • Umm is it me or should a true NATURAL be doing this video? lol
