Monica looks great here, it's a shame she didn't continue focusing on her fitness. She would have been a threat through out the rest of her career.

thanks for this--never saw it before; didn't even realize it was televised. Amazing how monica put it together after her father passed away (although this may have been shortly before)

Actually, Monica played the Italian Open after this and then played the French. I wonder if she wore this outfit at the Italian Open. ?

Other than the French Open which was after this, this is the only time that I have ever seen her wear this outfit. Monica went on to defeat Amanda Hopmans (from the Netherlands) 1 and 2 the next day as well.
