@kupidkutty ya so this doesnot state hindi to be national language there is a difference between national and official language. When you look at any indian currency you see 13 different languages on it....take a hint from it.
If there can be any national language it has to be sanskrit and not hindi.

Also, I presume you are not Indian, since you would have known that knowledge of English, rather than Hindi is a social indicator of being educated (however prejudiced that may be). The entire Southern part of India does not speak HIndi at all.
