Yes, in the movie, the competitions are non-gender divided, so we were training women for that. Unfortunately, not many of them stayed with the project through the rehearsals to be in the movie, almost each one of them for a different reason.

I think I noticed that about half of the group are women. In my class there are only men now, and they are all much biger and heavier. The closest to me weights 12 kilos (30 lbs) more than I do, it is just ridiculous.

Not really, I just could not in good conscience make a movie about grappling and put all these people through this training without giving them their chance to take a crack at me.
