@01ck24 If you get too close and use the full zoom it will definitely get blurry. Either don't use the full zoom or check out the 'Telemacro" feature in the options menu. The telemacro feature automatically zooms the camera all the way (you can't control it) and tells the camera to focus up close. Absolutely need a tripod for this feature. Hope that helps. Good luck!

how do you keep the focus so good at such a close zoom, mine goes out of focus when i get close to objects. Any ideas, do you use auto focus?

I do! Only downside seems to be the lack of a viewfinder. Battery lasts about 2 hours. Very easy to use. Great video quality.
