Driving is compared with running a railroad train. With excellent images of steam-era passenger trains.

  • just a minute MAI BOI

  • @wsbill14224 You're right when you say today's cars and roads are safer than in 1935, but where do you get the idea that most people were drunk at that time? Prohibition had ended just 3 years before, and while enforcement wasn't what it is today, I think all in all, people were more responsible then than they are now. And that's without even considering other controlled substances!

  • @inkey2 HA, yeah, I think you're right.! "Grandma says Jackie gotta come home right away, Momma gonna shoot Papa....no that's too strong...Important business!"

  • @NakedMariner I think I disagree with you. Cars and roads are safer and better than in 1935. Also, in 1935 most of the population was drunk. There were fewer rules back then, but I don't think that's a bad thing. Too many rules today, and ridiculously low speed limits. That's why so many people disregard them. What bothers me most about today's average driver is all the distractions. Yacking on the phone, eating, playing with the toys on the dash, everything but concentrating on the road.

  • is that little kid "weezer" from the little rascals?

  • Those model trains are now worth a freaking FORTUNE!!!!!!!

  • after all that the kid is still kinda pissed

  • Thank You, Very Nice video. I never thought about you tube for train and automobile footage, glad I looked.

I get adds from Pentrex and that was what made me look on You Tube.

    Thank You, Again!!

  • "Gee Coily, I didn't realize what I was wishing for. Can't we call the whole thing off?"

  • (once again) Jam Handy reminds you to keep your preserves in a convenient spot.
