  • Run Lola run is one of my all time faves. I'm not sure it was a low budget movie however. Franka Potente is probably THE most popular actress in German films. The lead actor (don't remember his name) is also very well known in his homeland. Another really good indie movie is "Heavenly creatures" Kate Winslet's first movie role.

  • I stand corrected on the budgeting amount, then. I think perhaps my point still stands, no?

  • worrd.

  • I don't exactly see what is so great about "Indie" films. They are the the same as any of other film, except they are independent. I don't exactly see how that makes a movie better or worse. But I have seen some Indie films and they are at the same level as any other film, some are good, some are bad.

  • yeah, IFC is cool

  • You should check out Whit Stillman's movies. He directed "Metropolitan", "Barcelona" and "Last Days of Disco". Excellent, Excellent Dialogue. If I remember correctly he's a self-proclaimed Christian Humanist, which may fit in with the general philosophy I've been picking up on from your videos.

  • I love indie films. Like you mention, they are probably the most creative in storytelling. They push boundries and give a unique voice.
