If someone really wanted to compare gta to saints row (and you know, why not, there is no problem with just comparing) I would say, that GTA is for those, who like deep character explaination, GTA is for those who like to feel like they are in the game, and who like characters, who have feelings, and have a deep story. Saints Row is for those, who like a laugh. A constant laugh for the rest of the gameplay. They are both fantastic games, I love them.

Also if you want to take another look at SR2, there is a wonderful collection of mods called Gentlemen of the Row that does leaps and bounds to help make the game more stable, and all around enhance the experience. There is a similar mod for the Third as well.

Glad to see you enjoying SR3 as much as you seem to be. After a few years of playing SR2, I had to declare it my favorite game of all time in spite of all its bugs, beating out my old favorites of Tetris and Chrono Trigger. SR3 very quickly went right up there. It's hard to beat a game that gives you such good laughs.

@popp1nbottlez why no? its not emo poet deep but all gtas have a realistic decent storyline and a world you can get immersed in. i still remember all the characters from San Andreas for example and i've played it years ago....
