Dem Boyz, the best New Jersey step team, is one of the teams in the movie "Stomp The Yard". The team is made up of fraternity brothers throughout New Jersey and has been featured on ESPN, CBS, and now the large screen. Check them out in practice.

According to an article in The Star-Ledger in New Jersey:

The group first got together in 2003, when fraternity brothers who knew each other from Phi Beta Sigma chapters on college campuses around New Jersey decided to create a team. Some of them had been stepping together since high school.

By the end of that year, there was a buzz about the Sigmas from New Jersey, said Ikenna "Ike" Anyanwu, of Irvington. "When we came to step, people would whisper, `Aren't you dem boys?'"

I can understand yall being good, I applaud you for that. In my 4 years of stepping in college I've won a lot of first place trophies also that doesn't make me better than Dem boyz or you. They've done a lot; 2 movies and national step show on ESPN victory. In order to compete with Dem Boyz stat wise you'd at least have to have done 50 first places and one movie. But congrats on you victories and I wish you well...

Don't worry about the haters that comment here otherwise because quite frankly a hater is someone that knows they are not better. So what they try to do is discredit others.
