@1mooster1 Aluminum and aluminium and both correct spellings and usages. I used to think aluminium was a misuse myself but it depends on a person's form of English as to (British or North American). Dictionarydotcom has both listed.

I've never heard any American pronounce it 'al-you-min-ee-um' or spell it aluminium. Dictionary spells it 'aluminum' & gives pronunciation as 'uh-loo-muh-num'.
-Also, is it really a good idea to have a pot of molten aluminum right in front of stairs?

@njx8 well, that's what the boosters on the shuttle were fuelled with.
@VCat2006 its just dust or other impureitys it floats to the top when almost any metal melts.

@AlphaMaleRyan Don't you mean (LOL Haha) "Aluminium foil" is 100% aluminium? (I would think "Tin" foil is tin!! LMFAO!!)
