great selection of music...love canadian indie or folk or whatever you call it..

Crime stems from poverty and i've heard that struggle called a class war. I could be crushed by steel at work and an officer could be shot as much as a fisherman drowned. This loss is not a special and unique snowflake.

i missed it too

I miss this song.

@canadasmusic See my comment below. Vodka December is slushy vodka, left to freeze in -40 temps!

@canadasmusic Vodka December is a Canadian thing, think. In Canada, in December... or January, February! Temps can get down to -40 (C or F, make no difference, it's the same at that temp). Alcohol, if left outside in the winter can get so cold it can turn to slush. Slushy vodka is vodka December. Been there. Live there!!

Heard this on Shore 104.3 Vancouver yesterday, what a well written and awesome tune!

@cfauteux I am self-employed working at home as a technical writer. Usually in the mornings I work with no background because it is my most productive time. Catch the noon show on local talk radio. But about 1:00 or 2:00 I turn Radio CBC 2 on in the background. I usually have it on until 8:00 pm. Except, there a few shows on university radio (UMFM and U of WPG) I tune in to specifically.

Thanks for the DBT shout-out! Great tune, NQ and Carolyn!!
JEN-Thats why I figured. Thats why I figured the VD thing.
According to Kelly Cutrara, on CBC R2 Drive...it IS Vodka December though.
I still think its a beautiful song!

I agree, I guessed "Juliet Echo November" stands for JEN. I have no idea what "Vodka December" means though. I always thought it was "fog in December".
But you're right, it is a beautiful song!
