was invited by Congressman Ralph Hall, Ranking Member on House Science and Technology Committee, to participate in a committee hearing on the National Aeronautics and Space Administrations (NASA) budget. The committee members held a hearing to express a number of concerns to Charles F. Bolden, Jr., Administrator of NASA, about NASAs Fiscal Year 2011 Budget Request.
Hmmmm I don't think I can agree with his assessment.. I'm one of the biggest NASA fans there is in my opinion, and if I had my choice, I'd add several more billion to the NASA budget to accelerate our Heavy Lift capability and get it moving.. However to me.. LEO has been done, the technology is complete for that capability.. it's time for the Smart, and capable Commercial Sector to take LEO flights over and get NASA on the next thing.. expanding out of LEO.. I have no doubt they can..

Yup, if we can afford $787 billion for a stimulus package, then we ought to be able to afford a few billion for NASA.
