  • @JimAsian1 I have a message for the old white man commentator Bud Collins : A capitalist Taiwanese guy Michael Chang kicked white asses in the 1989 French Open. In the 2011 French Open, his communist Chinese counterpart Li Na kicked white asses again and made history. BTW, the Chinese have kicked white asses routinely in any table tennis Grand Slam for 4 decades. Haha!

  • Respect and support to the commentators Dick Enberg and Bud Collins, but they didn't sound too happy that Michael Chang won. I wish they'd have shown a little more excitement on the winning point.

  • chang can thank becker for this win.edberg had to go 5 sets to beat becker and edberg just looks so tired here in the 5th set.

  • @weedermann Sorry, I think it was my mood of the day. Of course he wasn't crap, he even won a major. I just don't like the tiny sob. ;-)

  • @TheSuperstick55 A "crap player"? The French Open champ, who eventually reached #2 in the world. Never won any other majors but got to the finals of a couple more. Hardly a bad player.

  • What a crap player Chang was. And a fucking pussy as well.

  • @tyoungos chang is american though...

  • 我希望50年后,中国人种将给世界网坛一个惊奇!!!

  • Their 1992 US Open Semifinal was one of the tightest matches I ever saw. Every set was decided by a point or two. Edberg won that and the title over Sampras

  • @JimAsian1 I think it was just Bud Collin's style, sort of against social norms and a bit impolite. He spent half the match obsessing about Edberg's foot faults. I think people really liked Edberg as a person. The ATP sportsmanship award is named after him. In the end though, I agree with you that they should have recognized the historic moment much more. First Asian American winner during the week of Tianemen. I was 14 and it was electric.

  • volley players always loose on clay

    it's boring

remember mc enroe, sampras, henman, edberg, becker, .....

it's boring to see bruguera, nadal, costa, ferrero .....

no creativity, no talent, nothing but chimicals and anormal physical
