This is a basic animation of the process of protein synthesis I made when revising for my A-level Biology module. Hey, I'm no artist- but it helped me for the exam!

  • Thank you so much for posting this! I really didn't understand this before I saw this amazing video, so thank you for simplifying it to aid my A level Study !

    x

  • Cool, glad I could help. Good luck with your exams!

P.S. I was thinking of making more of these, what topics do you think would be good to do? Was thinking maybe the nervous system or something.

  • this is really basic

i just learned about this today and i thought that the helicase unzips the hydrogen bonds?

or am i tripping out and polymerse does not do this

this is to basic i learend nothing

  • This is too basic? Not as basic as your spelling skills...

  • i love how you symbolised the boredom of revising biology with the absolute boredom of enduring a whole moby song!

  • haha how very perceptive! :D

  • My teacher showed this in the classroom

    That was like LOL

  • Very helpful video and I love the music choice!

  • ahhh thankyou so much! ive been sitting there in class like... :|

  • I have watched several videos on this, and this one is by far the best one! Thank you! It is starting to make sense.

  • @a1musician helicase that unwinds the DNA is only when replicating DNA which is not what's happening right now. In the transcription part when the RNA is formed the only enzyme in action is RNA ploymerese II.

  • that video is almost true ! .. At the end of the video althouht it's wrong. you said that the chain of amino acid is a potein but its clearly not. Its actually a polypeptide and having different of these polypeptide combined togheter will create a protein. But it will only be functional if it has a second conformation or better.

Great video though even if its not animated, you have very good information and images are clear !! 9/10

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • thanks for workin this out for me, this totally made sense to me after trying and trying to "get it" I finally "get it" Thanks!!

  • @velocitygirl07 Genetics

  • love the music
