Because every fake degree sold means the Government gets less money in student loan debt. So the Government is going to always stomp that out. They're not protecting the public, they're protecting their own interests.

I can understand business professionals who are looking to acquire a degree quickly. After all, many are well established in their respected professions, but cannot afford to go back to school for 4 years to listen to a [professor droning on about a subject the businessman/woman already knows all about. A degree for established professionals only helps to cement their place in their professions by accentuating their skills and knowledge, rather than getting another job under false pretenses.

The scam is when you put your trust in someone who is displaying a University deploma who otherwise you may not have otherwise entrusted your faith in and because they did fraudently display a fake cert. ot deploma you did and your actions decissions were altered.
Besides a University deploma is an asset. The faker is stealing a counterfeited asset.

Last time I checked, when you go into an interveiw, you dont bring your degree in with you. duh! lol. They're going to have you checked out with the school anyway. You cant get away with anything you lazy bastards! I'm glad they got ripped off.
