This is my HD Hayabusa Helmet 3d Model that was in Halo 3. I am using a free program called anim8or to make it and if any of you want to get the program, go to www.anim8or.com. It is real easy to use and will help you with the basics of 3d modeling. Anyways the 3d model was designed for making a real life replica of the helmet by making it out of paper. This is done with a neat program called Pepakura Designer which you can also find online at www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura-en. It allows you to take a 3d model and edit so you can make it real life out of paper. Eventually once the paper model is made you fiberglass it to make it rock solid, and then bondo it to give it a smooth look and add details. Helmets like this usually very time consuming to make, but in the end the result looks good. If you guys want to find out more about some of these 3d models or want to learn about halo armor, go to www.405th.com. It is a great site and has an awesome community. If you want to find me there my screen name is agbates.
Tell me what you think and I am grateful for any advice that you guys can give me, and just note this is a work in progress.
Creed's good.
