When it shall be said in any country in the workd, "My poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars, the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive; the rational world is my friend because I am a friend of happiness"; when these things can be said, then may that country boast of its constitution and its government. Thomas Paine.

Damn over 300 ratings but a low amount of comments?
What is up with the retarded dressing up. At least christian fundamentalists don't go around wearing robes & sandals. The actual Tom Paine was cool & too much of a revolutionary for his time (opposing slavery & believing in fair treatment for Indians etc). He'd be turning over in his grave at the lameness.

Thomas Paine, was one of America's greatest heros and the TRUE author of The Decleration of Inependece. The overwhelming evidence of this is found in Joseph Lewis's book;Thomas Paine Author of the DECLERATION OF INDEPENDECE.(check it out on Google)
