God only numbered the days and told what a day was.from evening to evening is a day. Read Daniel 7:25 and that will be your answer why Monday is the first day instead of Sunday.

WHAT?! Dear friend do a bit of research before you put your face up here for the world to see! The papcy made the "Gregorian calendar" and they say sunday is the first day of the week. So yes sunday is not the first day.

Ya know, I think I'm beginning to understand why Germans followed a lunatic like hitler at their own will....Lack of intelligence is the breeding ground for sheeps...

I dont know what calendar you have been using but monday is not the first day of the week sunday is the first day of the week. Monday is the 2nd day of the week thats why saturday is the 7th

acctually, the Roman Catholic church changed it to sunday to honor the day that Christ died.

Oh, the discussion is live again! But... the main problem here is that we named all the days in a week after our own gods, and then the hebrew god came and demanded that we rest on the right day. But he apparently forgot to tell us wich it was. Lördag is the 6:th day in swedish culture, but supposedly it happens on the same day as some peoples sabbath, while we rest on the 7:th day, söndag. Now who can tell who is right?

Saturday is the 7th day AND the right day. Sunday was forced on people by their governments! So if you rest on Sunday, you are actually disobeying the 4th commandment.

The ten commandments were copied by moses from the negative confessions in the book of the dead!
I can just look at any calender! Here in sweden we count the weeks, and they start on monday. Just google or something.
