  • Dr Charles,

Thank you for replying to my query. I have another question. Is Botox for jawline reduction safe for pregnant women or women planning to conceive?

  • @bummer4451 It should not be used if you know you are pregnant.

  • Dr Charles,

How long will the result of the first session last? After reducing the jawline with botox, will it return to the former shape? Is it necessary to come back for more injections?

  • @bummer4451 On average, an injection lasts 6months. With periodic injections twice yearly, it often becomes permanently smaller. If you discontinue injections within the first 2-3 sessions, the muscle usually comes back to its original size.

  • Is it only one time a person would need to get an injection in order to get the results? or is it a series of injections?

Dr. Charles where do you have your office?

    Thanks!

  • @karlaecisneros One injection usually lasts 6months. After 4-5 injections, most people have a very long lasting result - a few years or more. We are located in Beverly Hills - 310-271-5954; 436 N. Roxbury Drive, #207; Beverly Hills, CA 90210

  • interesting

  • @Sven828 If it's an experienced injector, I would not worry.

  • Is it important how and where the botox is injected? My doctor injected the botox in several locations (best estimate 10) all over my masseter muscles, with most focusing on the lower region of my jaw and he did not have me clench my teeth but relax my jaw muscles. I'm worried.

  • @kimchee80 The cost is the same as any other botox treatment.
