Goodna Science and Technology - Dancing Popcorn. How systems interact- Water, vinegar, corn kernels and baking soda.
The corn kernels are dropped into the solution and they are more dense so they drop to the bottom. The carbon dioxide bubbles attach to the kernels. By gaining bubbles, the kernels improve their buoyancy thus gaining the ability to float and then rise to the top. When they get to the top, the bubbles will burst and escape into the air and the corn kernels will sink to the bottom.
