MORE INFINITI G37 @ INSIDELINE.COM:

We were 400 miles and three states deep into a 2,300-mile cross-country journey and in need of a serious break. But it wasn't the fault of our spanking-new 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe. Road construction and a long train of semis choked Interstate 40, and it was time to get off this well-beaten path and feed both this gleaming-red coupe and ourselves.
Just shy of Little Rock, Arkansas, a KFC beckoned. "Manager Wanted, Now Hiring." the sign said. An honest-to-God drive-through liquor store sat next door; across from that, a Waffle House. Once we factored in our sleek G37 coupe and its potent stereo with XM Satellite Radio, we figured we had all the necessities of life right here.
where is the 1/4mile?

@ambientflier Look at 1:16 . You can see the red "S" badge after the G37 emblem lol.

Slaloms, skid pads, etc are not "the track." Run laps on a road course.

@H1mynameisLarry A regular Evo X GSR got 0-60 in 4.9 and .99g(grips much better than a G37) on the skidpad according to Inside Lane. So I don't think it'll struggle against a G37. Stock to stock comparison, also the stock 1/4 is in the mid 13's.
Only catagory the G37 actually beat the Evo X in was the slalom speed, Edmund got 70.7mph with the Evo X, and 71.3mph with the G37. Which is a 0.6mph difference, lol.

@H1mynameisLarry I think you have to experience both cars to understand. You're probably talking from just an eye point of view. I've driven all 370Z, G37, G35, and Evo X. I've owned 2 of those cars, sure.. I thought I wouldn't have gotten over the buttwarmer seats and navi, w/e. But when you get into a high performance car with Recaro seats that snugs you in for those 1.1g turns, but still maintains the smooth ride(G35/37 suspension isn't that soft either btw, just heavy). You forget about it.

@H1mynameisLarry And people do buy a Evo for performance reasons, but the Evo's a pretty comfortable car. I always have people falling asleep while I drive. So I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable either, since I've driven the car 650 miles non-stop and haven't had any aching. My passenger was sleeping most of the way there, and it turned a lot of heads.
Speaker system isn't low grade, made by Rockerfeller and has a small sub(perfect for me). Suspension's made by Ohlin, high grade and stiff/smooth.

@H1mynameisLarry I've never heard of a Evo that's never made a person turn their head, considering that's what I see on a daily basis. Lol, and people will say it's a "Toy car" but I think that's for the more older people/spoiled highschool kids who likes to think that tip tronic's a type of manual when it doesn't even utilize a DCT Transmission.
And I enjoy the feel of the Recaro seat over the fake leather that the G35/G37 uses. Each seat cost $2,000msrp btw, so it's not cheap material.

@JSlShow I wouldn't question ya. You have a bolts on evo? A regular evo would struggle against a g37. Keep in mind that you have a universal car for a g37 (Decent speed, Looks,Luxury and you turn heads) An evo is a toy car that has 0 luxury but only performance. The older you get, youll want to lean towards a car with some luxury.. Just my opinion.

@H1mynameisLarry I have no idea what you're responding to. 328i is definitely faster than the IS250. And the G37S is comparable to 335i. Either way, my car can destroy either G37S or 335i. :) Although they're different classes, but I enjoy the feel of a rally car more than sports luxury. I had a G35 full option + bolt-on. Funny thing is, my Evo feels more comfortable in the Recaro seats.
Tuning wise, the 335i is much better. A simple JB mod will get it up and running, taking down E92 M3s.
