This is my recreation of a very common and glamorous hairstyle from the 1940's, a typical "Pageboy" hairstyle. It is very versatile and simple, and probably my favorite 1940's hairstyle! This is also the hairstyle Dita Von Teese commonly wears.

  • I watched almost all of your videos and find them really helpful, awesome and all but I have to admit I have to kinda skip big parts because the music makes me cringe... no offence. You still make amazing videos!

  • @foreseen Well, I do my best! these songs are created from my heart and no, I am not perfect... but I can honestly say that everything I do, I accomplish by myself.

  • @StrawberryKoiVintage I like the music. :)

  • do you have to use a round brush?

  • you are a fantastic! I wish we still lived in times where women did their hair like this! (although my grandma says she was thanking god everyday after the 70s for not having to) lol!

  • I might try this. I want to feel feminine without looking too girly lol.

  • Such a vintage hair style! Definitely going to try it. And I have that same top too, but in a muted amethyst colour. :)

  • It is so hard to find good vintage hair tutorials, yours are lovely, im planning my wedding to be all vintage and you've helped me decide on how im going to have my hair. Keep making them!! :) x

  • @Splee331 she used a rat tail comb. you can get it at any store like walmart or drugstore.its just a comb with a long thing piece on the end. you could use something else straight if you dont have one, a pen or something would work just to give you a straight part. hope this helps

  • best video ever!!! i've been looking everywhere for a pageboy hairstyle and i was like duh of course you would know! i've been subscribed for awhile don't know why i didn't think to look under your videos :p please make more videos i miss you!

  • Where do you get the tool that you used to part your hair with? Do you need to use that or can you just use a hairbrush? How long does this style take on average, also? I may wear it to school and I'm normally pressed for time (lol) :) Thank you! Lovely hairstyle!

  • Wow, my grandmother has pictures of herself and friends in this hairstyle up and down her walls! I wonder what she'll say when I show up with hair like this! :)
