April, 2008 - Having survived Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) for 22 years using cannabis (marijuana) as medicine, Cathy Jordan of Florida explains how it works to keep her alive - as a neuroprotective, cough stimulation, and the "cottonmouth" effect that controls the excess saliva so dangerous to ALS patients. Cathy also cites proven efficacy for Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease, while predicting breakthroughs for Autism and Alzheimer's.

  • This video is inspiring

  • I live in florida also, but im not allowed to have my medicine because its illegal in the state.

  • all patients that use, should spread the word and lead exemplary lives. Thank you Cathy for being brave in the face of tyranny. Let us all take a lesson from her and tell every single person we know how this plant has saved or improved our lives.

  • I only use cannabis for a chronic pain disease with no cure; it has kept me on same dosage of prescribed pain meds for 9 of 11yrs with RSD.

My Pap had ALS; I now wonder if this could have helped him live a better, longer life had he been able to use it as he would never use it illegally.

My prayers go out to you and I'm so happy this real God made medicine has kept you with us.

Thank you for speaking out as it should be legally prescribed to people like you and I.

  • Thank you for sharing! Your are truly doing gods will.

  • Bless you! Many of us are finding relief with Cannabis.
