Matco tool box survives shop fire

All the tools are in his brand new Matco 3 bay 6 Series box 28deep with 2 side lockers and a hutch with locking door. He is sand blasting the old one and repainting. We will replace some slides so it works easier, but all in all it's in great shape. The big rig that caught fire five feet away from the box however is in the junk yard. The fire was soo hot that they had to cut out and replace the concrete that was under the truck and the box. Oh and the whole steel building had to be replaced.

The shop all but burned to the ground. The truck that caught fire was five feet away from the tool box. The only thing left of the cab of the truck was the engine and suspension. The box is in such good structural shape that I transported it to the customers house to be sand blasted and repainted. It even still rolls good even though the tires of the truck were completely burnt off.

Thats sucks about the paint but it did hold up great. Way better than my craftsman would of
