Thanks for your comment. It is a true story with an happy ending! I have to say thank You to the Philippinean girl who didn't want to meet me, so I changed destination at the last second. As You noticed I flew to Manila.

Yes, I think I know what you mean by, "it's not all gold what shines". I've traveled a couple of times outside the US (Mexico '06 & Peru '08). I prefer to travel alone and you have to be incredibly careful & cautious at all times.
