i have the valve 80 .....but i dont use it with an ipod i just wanted it as an amp....i dont use the speakers that come with the unit i use my own.
but for what it is it does sound good very clear sound...the only downfall is that it uses a sold state transistor amplifier...the tubes that you see are preamp tubes.

The rotate FAILS for iPhone because if you use it as a charging dock, after 5-30 mins, even if plugged to AC, the speakers automatically shut off so now you will never hear any of your alarms or phone calls.

It looks and sounds likes a nice box and it seems to work well, shame it didn't turn up in time for our group test so we could test it properly.
