It's something how Clara's voice was always the thread that held the harmonies together, whether it was the three of her family members singing, or with her singers. And it didn't matter if she was singing the melody line or if she was singing a contralto harmony. No wonder "Mashed Potatos" sounded so good. LOL!

Yes, she had clara and Willa covering and blending! Gert knew where her cookies were and how to use them. Now on the flip side they used "The Ward singers", which Clara"s voice ringing clear.
