In the The Canon of Shun 舜典, Book 1, Verse 3. Shun 舜, the 2nd millennium B.C. leader of ancient China is described as being chosen to reign on the throne by his predecessor Yao 堯 because of his virtuous nature. When Shun 舜 finally accepts, he begins by Honoring God (capital G), and offering sacrifices, to God. While some might protest to his offering sacrifices to the river and mountains and spirits as well, this is not the point. We are not arguing his theology, we are noting his worship of the MOST HIGH God, creator of all the other spirits he may have payed secondary respect to. He offered first to God, and with burnt offerings to Heaven. ( http://www.sacred-texts.com/cfu/sbe03/sbe03009.htm )

In Taoism, which came later, there also appears a striking resemblance to Christianity. The three Holy figures of Taosim, which correspond to the nature of the the Father, Son, Spirit. They are called the ''Three Pure Ones'' and their characters are described as:

The Jade Purity, 玉清; "The Universally Honoured One of Origin"
(Gen 1:1, John 1:1)

The Supreme Pure One 上清; "The Universally Honoured One of Divinities and Treasures"
(Deuteronomy 33:19, Matthew 13:52)

The Grand Pure One 太清; "The Universally Honoured One of Tao and Virtues"
(John 14:26, Galatians 5:22-23)

  • 林 is the lowest(base) tone in the korean traditional musical notations, it's Bb in the western chords.

    林-南-無/應-黄-太-姑/仲

    Bb-C-Db/D-Eb-F-G/Ab i think it's a very basical

tone. famous Arirang song begins with 林. not all the tunes are so though.

  • Wow...thats really cool, I did not know Korans used this Character as a musical notation...thats is fascinating.

    감사합니다

  • I understand the Korean national Flower is the Rose of Sharon, which is in the Bible as one of the names of God.

  • 괜찮아요~ i just joked ^^ i actually don't hate it. maybe quoran or koran has many things in common with the bibles of christians and buddhists, too. they were somehow written in very similar era. i often wonder why.. it was also the begin of silk-roads era.

  • @BreshiBaraElohim And this "Rose of Sharon" being the national flower of Korea might also be telling close tie in between ancient Korean and their relationship with God the El Shaddai. Ancient Korean also believed in monolithic God and sacrificed to God before Taoism, Buddism, etc. came in.

  • @NephilimFree Oh...it is never pronounced Di Shang by the way. It is always pronounced Shang Di.

  • @URoxButIOwnz I didn't say it was reversed/ I am sayhing the languages say it in opposite directions of each other.

  • @NephilimFree fyi it was never reversed. It is pronounced Shang Di. It is a title of the one true GOD of Heaven, which means Emperor Above.

  • The video is very interesting to say the lease.

    Thanks! for putting it up.
