ERIC SATIE IS UNIQUE!

I find it funny that almost everyone is criticizing this like an examiner. This is a good piece played just fine. Probably better then the critiques here could ever.

the way I feel, this song is meant to be player slowly, with a lot of 'feeling'. Many versions are too fast. Yours is nice!

For my ears and my taste, you have played it at a perfect pace - phrasing works so well. There is such a dream like quality to this music that requires sensitivity to that quality...you most certainly have touched that. Lovely, and thank you so much for your effort in sharing it with me.

sounds almost like a sitar.

Nice try but next time you do it, try it without reading the music. When i listen to this piece of music i like to feel the rhythm and speed change and the music soften and raise. regardless of what people say, be creative with it, after all the composer was creative enough to write it, put your stamp on it and feel what you play, dont just play what you see! Kind Regards

for me it was too mechanical. not that i am critasising your playing, but this (for me at least) should flow, and speed up ad slow down by hard and soft. i dont feel the passion that i feel with this piece of music, i see you reading the music!

Not bad, a few mistakes on the notes though...Just a few words of advice (I've played piano for more than 10 years...): i think your left hand is too loud, it should be played softer to accentuate the melody in the right hand. The speed is a bit slow (i prefer it faster, but most prefer it slower) but the thing you should do is vary the speed instead of keeping it the same, it makes the song sound monotonous. Be careful of your pedal, sometimes the notes echo too much. I hope this helps :)

Beautiful...Could you tell me where can I reach the sheet music? If you could send me, I would be very thankful *.* Thanks for the video
rumpuskat your teacher is wrong! 90% of learning a piece comes from listening to it first! that is every piece and with both hands together that is nonsence sight read one hand at a time on each chord and put them together eventually it will get faster and no one will be able to tell the difference good luck! and athrasher just practise slowly and carefully each bar ten times no mistakes ok? that always helps me
