Laraque was a goon, but he wasn't a cheapshot. Guy had class, love em.

Yeah definitely it was nice to have an enforcer like him in pittsburgh. From about 94 until the lockout the Pens had pretty much no one to stick up for Lemieux and Jagr. Players just absolutely abused them with no response from the Pens.
