  • its so true... I'm Indian, I'm Muslim, I'm a doctor and I live in Chicago. I dare you to go into any hospital in any neighborhood in Chicago and try to walk through there without bumping into MANY Indian doctors/nurses/pharmacists. You can't do it, yet in the media Indians are basically portrayed as Apu. Stroger hospital (formerly known as cook county hospital, the setting of ER) is practically run by indian docs. I can even count the number of indian doctors in that place
