when you factor alcohol, speed, and not using safty restraints and not adhereing to road conditions you get a disaster.

As sad as this tragedy is everyone is blaming the Gary Police Dept for not conducting a investigation. GPD did all they could and did everything by protocol. Everyone who lives in Gary knows you cant drive 50MPH down Chase Street without seatbelts. It is strange but the driver is theonly one who survived because of his safety belt kept him alive. Most states the driver is the responsible occupant of the motor vehicle and should be held accountable 4 pasengers not wearing safety restraints.

Wow!!! unbelievable. The officers were cleared??? What investigation did they do? Sad world we live in when a parent is doing what a "trained" officer should have done. Sorry the fater had to find his son. Why wasn't the fire department call out to look for the other boy?
