I like Mortimer but Emily Watson is one of the great British actors of all time. Her talent is in a class by itself and her unique beauty is haunting and unforgettable. It is difficult to find words to adequately describe all that Watson is as an artist and has a woman. Just this week I viewed Appropriate Adult on Sundance and her performance was stunning. She disappears into a role and becomes the character in a way that takes the viewer's breath away. She's consistently superb and lovely.
