Parity Shot Integral - Doujin Review

18th Review.A cute'em up in the line of Cotton and all other 'Flying-Witch' Shmups.Its pretty much a standard shmup with usual levels: city sky, forest, above the sea etc...Graphically, nothing exceptional but the sprites are well drawn.Its originality resides in the fact that the 3 characters on offer are really different from each other.They all have the standard shot,but their secondary weapon is different.One character has a sort of lock-on system that can be used to target several enemies at once.The second witch has a sword that you can rotate 360 degrees around you and the third witch uses magic cards.On top of that, all characters have bombs and a little flying companion to help out.
The gameplay changes completely depending on who you choose.The game is fairly easy and the levels relatively short.In all, its not the shmup that will revolutionise the genre nor make you want to spend hours playing it, but for a 10 minute 'pick-up' it does the job.
