I would say it IS an issue if the following is true: Obama supports the statements of Wright when off the campaign trail.
When he goes to this place for years where the man says "God Damn America" and scapegoats whites and preaches anti-white slander (and god knows what else that we dont know about), it becomes a HUGE issue. If he supported this man before he was running his campaign, then I think it would be scary for him to be elected. To ME, this is the worst thing about Obama right now.

nah man, it's the facial hair.

I agree with you.
One doesn't need to be morally perfect to make great moral achievements -- for instance, Martin Luther King Jr. habitually cheated on his wife. Drawing attention to these issues is a distraction tactic. Marital fidelity doesn't necessarily impact one's ability to run a country any more than one's taste in shoes.

This is a issue that tells us who he is.
Wright pastored a Church that OBAMA went to for 20yr.s, Wright explains why Obamas wife made her comment over a month ago. Wright brings up questions as to whether this is a man that can be trusted in the most powerfull office in the world. This is stuff the General public should know. As for plans Hillary creamed him in the debate they had and McKain would slaughter him there also.
personally I don't like any of them unless they'll start drilling oil!

There is nothing more important when choosing a President than the issue of character. And the ONLY reason you want people to stop focusing on the character issue is your candidate is so bad that it's an embarrassing spectacle. The fact that you still want him, speaks volumes.
But, hey, if Clinton and Obama supporters want to move on to the issues, I say, bring it on. Obama, in particular, has one FUCKED UP voting record. Maybe it's time to confront him on that, now.

ACtually you are wrong. Because I voted for Ron Paul in the primaries. I beleive he would be the best candidate out of all of them. I am sick and tired about hearing about someones character. I don;t care what they do in htere personal life unless it hurts or kills someone. What is that saying, about casting the first stone. NO ONE IS PERFECT. EVERYONE IS GETTING SIDELINED BY THIS CRAP. Please start looking at the issues. THe economy, jobs, the housing crisis, this sensless War, Poverty
