Babbling Brooks at Brooklands, Port Elliot

Heavy rains in June and July 2012 had the brooks babbling, the creeks running and the dams overflowing at Brooklands, a delightful State Heritage listed property above Port Elliot on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.
Fortunately our Bed and Breakfast guests were snug by a log fire with a heartwarming drop of red and a good book at hand, as they listened to a tattoo of raindrops on the old tin roof.
It's a great place to be in the winter! None better!
