In Zambia children are casualties of the war against HIV/Aids. In fact, every 35 seconds, a child here becomes an AIDS orphan. Already, more than 710,000 children have lost parents, and many are left on the streets.

We were able to go to one of the most poverty stricken areas in Africa and run a summer camp for orphans. Our goal was to become a mentor and leader as an older 'brother' or 'sister.' We lived among them in tents, cooked over open fires, and attempted to demonstrate Christ's love to show these overlooked children that God has not forgotten about them. The mission was simple, to let them know that they may not have parents on earth, but God wants each of them in HIS family!

  • and so the brainwashing continues for africas children. Shame!!! Those 'rednecks' should have spared themselves the 1000s of miles and try to change their own youth in america who are drug abusers and porn addicts. Take your white jesus back to america and leave africa alone hypocrites!

  • You obviously mean well for you to upload this video, but 35 seconds is clearly not a realistic figure --its not true. I happen to come from Zambia and know for a fact that prevalence rates have actually dwindled over the past couple of years.
