Plains Conservation Center

A truly fun visit to the (Colorado) Plains Conservation Center outside of Denver. Visit their site at http://www.plainsconservationcenter.org
The adorable part is that the prairie life left when we arrived, so I stayed behind and sure enough they returned. I recommend this as a field trip for schools, churches and civic groups. The Docents are very knowledgeable and delightful to listen to. The bricks of some of the sod houses are too small, but they confess this. As a Colorado Native I caught a few things that were misplaced for the era, but over all it was a very nice visit.

What a lovely introduction to the Conservation Center. I'll definitely be making a trip to see the site in person.
